Terms
Last updated: October 11, 2026
These are the rules for taking the A Letter to Money survey. By starting the survey, you agree to them.
What this is
The survey is research for a book by Dylan Ander. It takes about 4 minutes. You can choose to go deeper, in short optional parts.
Who can take part
You must be 18 or older. When you tick the box on the first screen, you are telling us that you are.
It is your choice
Taking part is voluntary. You can skip any question and stop at any time.
What you give us
- Please answer honestly, and about your own life. Do not share other people's private details.
- By answering, you let us read and analyze your answers for the research for the book. The privacy page says how.
- If you say yes to the quote question, you also let us quote what you wrote in the book. We will do it the way you chose, with or without your first name.
- If you say no, we will not quote you.
Playing fair
Please do not use bots or scripts, answer many times to change the results, or try to break into the site. We may block anyone who does.
Not advice
The survey and the book are about feelings and experiences with money. Nothing in them is financial, legal, or professional advice.
No promises
We work to keep the survey running and your answers safe. We cannot promise it will always work, or that nothing will go wrong. We offer it as it is.
Your data
The privacy page explains how we handle your data. It is part of these terms.
Changes
We may change the survey or these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the survey after a change, you accept it.
